Worst team after the first part of RPL season made multiple changes in roster during the break, and in first official game of the year Andrey Talalaev put four new players in the starting 11, these were wingers Evgeny Shlyakov and Roman Yuzepchuk, center-back Yury Zhuravlev and attacking midfielder Ilya Kukharchuk. Torpedo are first RPL side to be eliminated from Regions Path play-offs. The day before Zenit qualified to the next quarter-finals stage beating Volga in Ulyanovsk 3-0.
