Three-game series between Dynamo and Krylia came to the end in the first RPL matchday of 2023. Samara eliminated the White-Blues from RPL Path in Russian Cup, and they were close to capture the lead in the first half. It was unique situation, when team scored twice, but both goals were cancelled. Glenn Bijl before crossing to Amar Rahmanovic went offside, and then Benjamin Garre made handball play before sending the ball to the empty net.

Dynamo faced the same situation, when they controlled the game in the second half. Fedor Smolov redirected the ball after Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu shot, but before it there was a foul from Saba Sazonov in the penalty area. The hosts finished the game with two strikers on the field, and Konstantin Tyukavin was a joker again, his touch after Dmitry Skopintsev stole three points for Dynamo.

Dynamo go back to fourth with 32 points cutting the gap from third place to three points, while Krylia Sovetov are eleventh on 20 points.
