Krylia relived couple unlucky moments in the first leg against CSKA, overhead goal by Glenn Bijl was called off in Samara, and his free kick was close to cross the goal line. Samara kept tied with CSKA for almost full game, the opponents exchanged with shots to the posts by Fedor Chalov in the first half and Fernando Costanza in the second. Teams were almost ready to take penalty shootout, even Krylia reserve goalkeeper Evgeny Frolov dressed to replace Ivan Lomaev, and then Willyan Rocha pushed the ball to penalty area, and it ricocheted to the net from Bijl’s leg. Krylia rushed in the final attack with all players to the box, but could not find the moment.

First leg finished with 2-2 draw. CSKA won 3-2 on aggregate to reach RPL Path finals, the Armymen will face Ural, who eliminated Spartak. Krylia Sovetov moved to Regions Path, in the second semi-finals stage they will meet either Akron, neighbors from Samara Region, or Krasnodar vs Rostov winner.
