Krylia made bold start against RPL leaders, Sergey Babkin broke the deadlock with header and got first career league goal. But Zenit made the rest of first half comfortable with Malcom penalty take, Claudinho shot and red card for Glenn Bijl, who earned two yellow cards fouling against Daler Kuzyaev (which led to penalty) and Andrey Mostovoy. Malcom continued his performance in the second half with three more goals, all came from play. First time in his career the Brazilian scored more than two goals in single game, and with 22 goals he stayed top of the scorers list.

Zenit one step closer to fifth straight title, being top with 61 points, while Krylia are twelfth on 25 points.
