Dynamo Sasonov & Gagnidze leave U-21 EURO with Georgia

Georgia youth national team suffered a defeat from Israel in quarter-final at UEFA U-21 European Championship.

Teams ended regular and extra time with 0-0 draw, and in the penalty shootout Georgia lost to Israel 3-4.

Two players from Dynamo Moscow came to the pitch in starting 11. Defender Saba Sazonov played all 120 minutes, while midfielder Luka Gagnidze was substituted on 97th minute.

In total Sazonov played four full matches for Georgia and scored against Portugal in tournament opener, while Gagnidze participated in three games.

UEFA U-21 European Championship is being held in Georgia and Romania from 21 June to 8 July.
