Roman Shirokov after signing the contract with PFC CSKA gave interview to the official website of the club.

— I am happy to get back home, as this is my home club, which brought me up! I am not concerned about the short period of the contract: if I am to prove myself on the pitch, it will be prolonged, I don’t doubt it. Of course, for the nearest future the aim is quite clear – to help PFC CSKA to become the Champion of Russia, besides we cannot forget about the Cup.
