FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod officially announced the appointment of Sasa Ilic as new head coach.

46-year-old Serbian joined RPL team after leaving Greek club Atromitos, where he had been working since October 2023. At club level Ilic also was a head coach to Cukaricki in Serbia, and CSKA Sofia. As player he represented Partizan, Celta Vigo, Galatasaray, Red Bull Salzburg and Larissa, made 37 official appearances for Serbian (also known as Serbia & Montenegro, Yugoslavia) national team and took part in 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Ilic has become first foreigner to coach Pari NN. Earlier Nizhny Novgorod club parted ways with Sergey Yuran, who spent a year with the team. Pari NN got 28 points in 26 league matches going eleventh in the standings. Next match team will host on 5 May against Spartak.
