The Spartak Moscow board of directors appointed Shamil Gazizov as new club CEO.

Gazizov spent eight last years as CEO in FC Ufa. The team promoted to RPL in 2014 and still plays in the top division. In 2017/18 season FC Ufa achieved the best result in the club's history with taking sixth place and qualifying into Europa League.

On 7 July Spartak Moscow announced the departure of previous CEO Tomas Zorn following the decision by board of directors.
