Former Rubin Kazan full-back Moritz Bauer has come back to the Russian Premier Liga after signing a loan deal till the end of the season from English Championship side Stoke City. The Austrian international - who represented Switzerland at youth level - is back in Russia after a three-year absence.

Bauer made 41 appearances for Rubin during his 18-month spell, including four assists in 37 RPL appearances. He has not featured for the Stoke first team this season, although last campaign he played nine times on loan at Scottish giants Celtic. His contract with his parent club runs until 2023.
