Rubin Kazan and Djordje Despotovic have terminated the player’s contract by mutual consent, leaving the 29-year-old Serbian striker as a free agent.

Despotovic joined Rubin in July 2020, scoring 15 goals in 36 matches for them. Previously he had scored 14 goals in 48 matches for Orenburg, as well as representing clubs in Belgium, Kazakhstan and his native Serbia.
