Lokomotiv sign Sergey Pinyaev and Maksim Glushenkov on four-year deals

Krylia Sovetov players Sergey Pinyaev and Maksim Glushenkov officially joined Lokomotiv Moscow both signing four-year contracts.

Pinyaev chose number 19, while Glushenkov will wear number 15. As youth, both players entered Lokomotiv Academy, but lately they moved to FC Chertanovo.

Pinyaev joined Krylia in July 2021, he played 39 matches and scored 5 goals in RPL. On 17 November, the 18-year-old midfielder became the youngest player ever in the history of Russia national team participating in the friendly match against Tajikistan. Pinyaev also won “First Five” award as the RPL best young player of the year.

Glushenkov had been represented Krylia for three times: in the second part of 2019/20 season he came from Spartak Moscow on loan, in the 2021/22 joined back on loan, and in June 2022 moved on permanent transfer. 23-year-old striker scored 15 goals in 54 matches for Samara in RPL.

Pinyaev and Glushenkov are the first Lokomotiv newcomers among players. On 13 November, Mikhail Galaktionov was hired as head coach keeping the same job in Russia U-21 national team.
