Spartak Moscow officially signed three-year contract with midfielder Theo Bongonda from Cadiz CF.

Bongonda is second player joined the Red-Whites this summer, coming after Jesus Medina, who was signed from CSKA Moscow. Midfielder will wear kit with number 77.

At pro level player represented Zulte-Waregem, Celta, Trabzonspor, Genk and Cadiz. During 2022/23 season 27-year-old midfielder scored four goals in 31 matches for Cadiz in Spanish La Liga. At international level Bongonda played for Belgium youth national teams, but in 2022 he made a debut for Democratic Republic of the Congo national team.
