FC Krasnodar announced signing defender Lucas Olaza from Spanish club Valladolid.

Player’s contract will be running for two years, and it has one-year extension option. 29-year-old Uruguayan is graduate of River Plate Montevideo, during pro career he played in Uruguay (River Plate, Danubio), Spain (Celta B, Celta, Valladolid, Elche), Brazil (Atletico Paranaense) and Argentina (Talleres, Boca Juniors). In 2022/23 Olaza made one assist in 25 matches for Valladolid in La Liga, as his side was relegated to Segunda.

Olaza is second new player for the Bulls this summer, the only previous signing was Aleksandr Ektov, came from Orenburg.
