Zenit St. Petersburg and midfielder Wilmar Barrios officially extended contract, which will be running until the end of 2026/27 season.

Previously the contract was signed till the end of 2025/26 season, this term was agreed in October 2021.

After joining Zenit from Boca Juniors in 2019 Barrios became five-time RPL champion (tied with ex-Spartak Robson and ex-CSKA Elvir Rahimic as foreign player with most Russian Championship titles), won Russian Cup and four Super Cups. Midfielder scored three goals in 122 RPL matches.
