Zenit St. Petersburg officially announced participation at friendly international tournament Equality Cup, which will be played in Qatar.

RPL second team after 18 matches of the season will be training in Qatar since 1 to 28 February. Zenit will face Al-Duhail from Qatar on 5 February, Shanghai Shenhua from China on 8 February and Santos from Brazil on 13 February. Detailed information on kick-off times will be confirmed later.

Al-Duhail are 2022/23 season champions of Qatar Stars League, Qatari Stars Cup, and winners of 2023 Qatar Cup; Shanghai Shenhua finished fifth in 2023 season of Chinese Super League but won national FA Cup; Santos relegated from Brazilian Serie A first time in history finishing 17th.
