Rubin Kazan and head coach Rashid Rakhimov officially signed new two-year contract.

Rakhimov came to Rubin in April 2023, when team had been playing in First League, and they finished the season first earning direct promotion to RPL. In 2023/24 Rubin under 59-year-old coach became eighth in RPL with 42 points, and Rakhimov was named Manager of the Month by league in November–December.
