FC Khimki announced signing midfielder Lucas Vera from Orenburg.

27-year-old player from Argentina played for Orenburg in previous two seasons, he played 55 matches in RPL making three goals and 12 assists. Before moving to Russia in 2022 Vera played in Argentina for Lanus, All Boys and Huracan.

Vera is among multiple Khimki new signings this offseason joining Ilya Berkovsky, Ilya Porokhov, Orinho, Artur Yusupov, Anton Zabolotny, Aleksandr Filin, Reziuan Mirzov, Denis Glushakov, Nikita Kokarev and Nemanja Andjelkovic. Orenburg before releasing Vera parted ways with Renato Gojkovic, Vladimir Obukhov, Dmitry Vorobyev, Mikhail Sivakov, while Vladimir Poluyakhtov retired as player and joined team’s coaching staff.
