Akhmat Grozny announced the departure of head coach Magomed Adiev.

Both sides agreed to terminate the contract, signed on 21 June for three years.

Adiev became Akhmat head coach on 5 April; he had been combining jobs in the club and Kazakhstan national team during the remaining part of 2023/24 season, and on 31 May, coach announced parting ways with national team.

Under Adiev Akhmat finished 2023/24 RPL season tenth. After seven matches of 2024/25 RPL season team has five points getting five draws and two defeats. Totally 47-year-old coach earned five wins, five draws and six defeats in 16 league matches.

Next RPL fixture Akhmat will play against Dynamo Moscow at VTB Arena on Sunday 15 September.
