In the 1/8 Cup of Russia final match in St.Petersburg Zenit hosted Arsenal.

Arshavin scored the opener in the first half, and in the 71st minute Rodic extended the lead of the home team up to two goals. But Arsenal by means of Kaleshin and Smirnov's efforts managed to even the score. And in the extra time a well-placed shot of Maloyan brought win to the team of Dmitry Alenichev.

In the quarterfinal Arsenal will be playing against Gazovik Orenburg, which beat Syzran-2003 (1:0).
