Lokomotiv Moscow became the last semifinalist of the Cup of Russia. The full and extra time in their match against Rubin Kazan ended in a draw – 0:0, and fortune favored Lokomotiv in the penalty shoot-out - 4:2.

On 29 April in the semifinals PFC CSKA will be playing against Kuban and Gazovik will be playing against Lokomotiv. The hosts will be drawn.
