Today the Cup of Russia 2014/2015 semi-finals were played and the finalists were determined. Lokomotiv will be playing against Kuban from Krasnodar in the Cup final.

In the first semi-final in Orenburg, local Gazovik hosted Lokomotiv Moscow. The match ended with win of Lokomotiv. The fulltime finished 1:1. The hosts scored in the 50^th minute (Farhod Vasiev). The return goal was scored Petar Skuletic at the very end of the game. Not long before that only 10 Gazovik players left on the pitch after second caution and subsequent sent-off of Khyzyr Apaev. Extra time did not bring any goals to the match, and the result was determined in the penalty shoot-outs, where the Railway team won 3:4.

The second semi-final was held at the home pitch of Kuban in Krasnodar, where the hosts beat PFC CSKA 1:0.

The goal was scored by Hugo Almeida in the 71^st minute of the game. FC Kuban will take part in the Cup of Russia final for the first time in its history.

The Cup of Russia final will take place on 21 May in Astrakhan.
