On 1 March a Cup of Russia quarterfinal match between FC Krasnodar and FC Terek was held in Krasnodar.

The intensive fight in both halves made the fulltime score - 0:0.
Only during the second half of extra time the result of the game was achieved. The goal by FC Krasnodar captain Andreas Granqvist provided qualification to the Cup of Russia semifinal to his team. Krasnodar will be playing against PFC CSKA from Moscow.

The Army team beat Ufa on the same day a little bit earlier.

According to the Cup of Russia Regulations, PFC CSKA will be hosting Krasnodar in the semifinal.
