Less and less time remains till the end of the tournament, so the competition becomes more and more tense with every MD both in the top and bottom parts of the tournament table. The intrigue is growing up to the limit with every match played.

MORDOVIA – AMKAR      

15.04.2016, 19:00, START

Referee: Kirill Levnikov (St.Petersburg). In season 2015-2016 – 12 matches – 34 yellow cards – 8 penalties awarded

In the first round: 1:2

The MD will be kicked-off in Saransk where Mordovia will be hosting Amkar from Perm.

The first match of Mordovia without Head Coach Andrey Gordeev happened to be an evident failure. The team from Saransk lost to PFC CSKA in Khimki – 7:1. After such failure it will be very difficult for the team to recover from the psychological point of view.

However, there are at least 7 matches ahead and there is enough time to leave the bottom position. But if it is possible or not  - this is the question to the club and players.

So far the statistics says that the winless run of Mordovia consists of 8 matches.

Amkar is five points from play-off zone. The team of Gadzhi Gadzhiev will try to gain points in the game against Mordovia. Otherwise, the end of the season will be quite nervous, which is not in the plans of the players and coaching staff of the team from Perm.

Suspended Zanev will not be able to play for the club from Perm in this match.

TEREK - KRASNODAR

In the first round: 1:1

One of the most interesting matches in this MD will take place in Grozny. The candidates for the places in European Cups zone are going to play – Terek and Krasnodar. Defeatless home run from the start of the current season speaks for the team of Rashid Rakhimov.

However, another kind of statistics is for Krasnodar. Terek gained only one point in the latest six matches against Krasnodar within the frames of the Premier League. And it happened in the first round of the current ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship. Besides, the teams have played 5 matches in Grozny. Home team won three of them, and two were won by the visiting team.

Terek has still got the least number of defeats in the current season, and in 11 home matches they won six times and had five draws.

Krasnodar scored to its opponents 10 goals over two recent matches, five of these goals were scored by Fedor Smolov, who joined to the race for the Best Scorer title.

LOKOMOTIV – PFC CSKA

Another capital derby will be a decoration of the current MD. Lokomotiv will be hosting PFC CSKA. Both teams have good chances to get the gold medals in the current season, so a lot is at stake in this match for them.

Lokomotiv had three wins and one draw over the recent 4 matches. This match interrupted the six-match run of Igor Cherevchenko team, when they were scoring to their opponents.

PFC CSKA plays in-and-out over the recent six matches – three wins and three defeats. And the team of Leonid Slutskiy cannot win more than once in a row.

It is interesting to know that the statistics of the recent matches is not for the Army team. Lokomotiv cannot beat PFC CSKA for eight matches in a row. Moreover, only one point is gained for the same period.

ZENIT – SPARTAK

The central match of the MD will be taking place at Petrovskiy where Zenit will play against Spartak.

The matches between these teams always attract a lot of attention. Besides, Zenit joined the Champions race. The team of Andre Villas-Boas is only three points behind PFC CSKA and two points behind Rostov. So they cannot afford to lose points at this moment.

The situation with Spartak is serious as well. The team compete for the place in European Cups zone and the recent failures complicated the situation to the limit. So far Spartak occupies the 7^th position, and such result do not satisfy the army of the team fans.

4 wins in the recent matches are for Zenit, besides in three of them Yury Lodygin managed to keep his sheets clean. Spartak over the same period made two wins, one draw and one defeat.

As for the squads, Zenit has problems with Garay injury, but he is to be back by this match. Besides, ex-Spartak player Dzyuba will for sure try to displease his ex-club. Spartak has D.Kombarov suspended. Fortunately, the team of Dmitry Alenichev leaders do not have any injuries.

Over the recent four matches between these teams they had three draws and one win for Spartak. So Zenit will try to interrupt this unpleasant run.

UFA  - ANJI

One of the MD key matches will be held in Ufa where the local club will be hosting Anji. Both teams are in the relegation zone and the result of this match can have the key meaning at the finish.

The club from Ufa occupies the 13^th position being three points behind the safe 12^th position. Anji on the 15^th position is 4 points behind its opponent and in case of success can considerably raise its chances to avoid the direct relegation from the Premier League.

Ufa had its third home win in the current season only in the previous MD. In total the club from Ufa has gained 12 points over 11 home matches. Anji is more dangerous in away matches in the current season. The club from Makhachkala  had all their three wins in away matches. It is interesting that in the previous MD the players of Anji played their second match in the season with clean sheets.

DYNAMO – KRYLIA SOVETOV

One more match which can affect the places allocation in the bottom part of the table will take place in Khimki. Dynamo which is not very good in the current season is hosting Krylia Sovetov. Both teams are not far from the dangerous line, so the match is expected to be a tough one.

Dynamo upset its fans in two previous MDs. At first the team of Andrey Kobelev was beaten by Krasnodar – 4:1, and about one week ago Dynamo had an unsuccessful trip to Kazan, where they lost to Rubin with the same score.

Dynamo has problems with the squad – Kozlov is injured, Denisov is not in the ideal condition. Besides, the rotation of the goalkeepers did not help – Shunin conceded four goals the same as Gabulov one week before.

Dynamo is only 4 points from the play-off zone. Kobelev and his players hardly will want to prolong their season, especially considering the fact that anything can happen in such matches.

The club from Samara has gained 4 points over two recent MDs after a long unsuccessful run, but the gap from the pursuers is not so big – only three points. So Samara team cannot afford losing.

KUBAN – ROSTOV

Kuban and Rostov will be playing the southern derby in Krasnodar. The teams are in two different parts of the tournament table, but they both equally need points.

Kuban is gaining points over the recent time, but not so many as they would love to. Now the team occupies the 14^th position, being three points behind the safe 12^th position. So everything is in hands of the players from Krasnodar.

After the draw in the match against Anji Rostov allowed PFC CSKA to get ahead. Besides, Zenit is actively pursuing the team of Kurban Berdyev. So the end of the season will be very interesting for Rotov.

In the history of the matches between these teams Kuban has an evident advantage, but two recent matches were for Rostov. However, the club from Rostov won away only once – long ago in the 1992 when they had different name –Rostselmash. Since that time the team from the Don riverbanks does not know wins.

URAL – RUBIN      

18.04.2016, 17:00, SKB-BANK ARENA

The wrap-up match of the MD will take place in Ekaterinburg where Ural will be hosting Rubin. The teams occupy the next positions in the tournament table, but Rubin does not have so many chances to get ahead of its opponents.

Ural got 6 goals from Krasnodar in the previous MD. So the team will do their best in order to rehabilitate in front of their fans. The starting squad for sure will be changed.

Though in general the season is quite successful for Ural, the team is among the top eight teams and will struggle for the higher position at the finish.

The club from Kazan was not very successful at the start of the season, but now the club is doing better and better. The team is not stable, but sometimes gives fantastic matches, like the previous MD match against Dynamo. Evidently, Rubin will make conclusions in accordance with the results of the season and the team will return to the top eight.
