On Tuesday, 28 February, within the frames of the Cup of Russia quarterfinals Ural played against Krasnodar.

Due to the weather conditions in Ekaterinburg the match was held at Krasnodar Stadium. But even this fact did not affect the game – supporters were able to see fantastic football with a lot of goals.

The first half proved evident advantage of the club from Krasnodar. Fedor Smolov scored the opener in the 2^nd minute of the game, then Krasnodar new player Victor Claesson scored twice. Only at the end of the first half Vladimir Ilyin managed to shorten the gap – 1:3.

In the second half Ural at last felt as the home team. The club did not concede a single goal and was able to bring the game to the extra time.

During two halves of 15 minutes each the teams were not able to determine the stronger one, and the result of the match was fixed by the penalty shoot-outs – 4:3.

Ural will find out its opponent tomorrow, 1March. The match between Rubin and Sibir will kick-off at 15:00. It will be broadcasted live on Nash Futbol TV channel.
