The match in Khabarovsk opens the matchday programme, where local SKA-Khabarovsk is hosting Ufa. The home team lost to Dynamo in the previous matchday game, so they desperately need to gain points in a home match. After a home win against Lokomotiv Ufa strengthened its position in the tournament table, but the club from Ufa is still not far from the dangerous zone.

Tosno is hosting Rostov. The team of Dmitry Parfenov has had only one failure over recent five matches and gained six points. In case of success in another game the team from Leningrad Region will be equal in points with its opponent. Rostov has lost four matches in a row, and the winless run of Leonid Kuchuk players is already seven matches. One more failure can seriously affect the position of the team in the tournament table.

Rubin is hosting Dynamo in Kazan. The club from Moscow beat the club from Kazan only three times over 28 matches. And the latest success of the white-blues dates to December 2012.

On the previous matchday the club from Kazan interrupted two runs – of four failures in a row and of four goalless matches. The team of Kurban Berdyev will try to develop its success at their home pitch. After beating SKA-Khabarovsk in the first match of the new head coach Dmitry Khokhlov, Dynamo improved its position in the tournament table, but it will be very difficult to continue its success in Kazan. But Dynamo does not have any other option – they have to gain at least one point in every match.

Spartak which won UEFA Champions League match this week is hosting Amkar. The red-whites lost one of their leaders Alexander Samedov due to his injury, but Quincy Promes and Denis Glushakov who returned  to the squad can compensate this loss. Amkar, however, will do its best in order not to lose.

Three matches will be played on Sunday. Ural is hosting Akhmat. Matches between these teams usually have a lot of goals.

PFC CSKA is hosting Zenit – the championship leader -  in Moscow. This match is very important for the home team, as in case of win the gap from the team of Roberto Mancini will be only one point. However Victor Gancharenko has enough problem with his squad. Alan Dzagoev and Vasily Berezutskiy were injured, Alexander Golovin is far from its best condition. But if the Army team is planning to compete for the title, they need to gain three points on Sunday.

Zenit had UEFA Europa League match on Thursday. But Roberto Mancini can make some variations of the squad, as he has quite many players in his team. This match is also important for Zenit, as in case of failure the team can lose their leading position or to shorten the gap to the next teams to minimum. Of course, Mancini will try not to allow such situation to happen.

Anji which is occupying the bottom position is hosting Arsenal. The team of Vadim Skripchenko has a chance to shorten the distance to the big group of teams in the zone of direct relegation.

Lokomotiv which is only two points behind the leader will be hosting Krasnodar occupying the fourth position. The team from Moscow will be playing their match against the background of exhaustion after a trip to Moldova for UEL match. Besides, there are not enough players in the squad for Yury Semin for substitution. However, in spite of many factors Lokomotiv continues competition for the championship title.

Krasnodar lost three recent matches of ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship with a total score of 0:4. The main scorer of the team Frdor Smoov cannot score for some time, and players of Igor Shalimov make mistakes in defense. So this match is very important for Krasnodar, which is risking to lose its position among candidates for the medals.
