UEFA Europa League group stage MD 5 matches took place on Thursday, 23 November. Lokomotiv hosted København in Moscow and had a very important win - 2:1.

Both goals were scored by Farfan. Due to this win Lokomotiv has gained 8 points and moved to the top position in the tournament table.

In the wrap-up game of the group stage Lokomotiv will play away against Zlin on 7 December.

Zenit hosted Macedonian Vardar in St.Petersburg and also won 2:1. Dmitry Poloz and Emiliano Rigoni scored for Zenit. Artem Dzyuba did not manage to convert a kick from 11-meter mark. Due to this win the Russian club has gained 13 points.

In MD 6  match on 7 December Zenit will play away against Real Sociedad.
