FC Zenit and Roberto Mancini reached an agreement to terminate their contract ahead of time. The contract is terminated on the mutual agreement of both parties without any compensation payments.

Roberto Mancini came to Zenit on 1 June 2017. Under his guidance Zenit played 44 official matches (21 wins, 13 draws, 10 defeats). During the first part of season 2017-2018 the Blue-white-skyblues were on the top line of the tournament table for 11 matchdays and became the team with best result at UEFA Europa League group stage.

The contract with the Italian coach will be terminated on Monday, 14 May.
