In Russian Premier League wrap-up match Rubin hosted Krylia Sovetov. The game ended with win of the club from Kazan 2:1.

During the first half after an excellent combination Podberezkin scored and it was his first goal in the Premier League current season.

The return goal to his ex-team was scored by Maxim Kanunnikov in the beginning of the second half. Everybody thought that it was going to be a draw, but the team of Kurban Berdyev pressed their opponents till the very end of the game. During extra time the club from Kazan had the winning goal scored by Serdar Azmoun after a direct free-kick.
