In the Russian Premier League MD 19 wrap-up match Spartak lost 1:4 to Rostov at home.

Bakhtier Zainundinov took the lead for Rostov in the 22^nd minute of the game. At the very end of the first half Rostov could have extended the lead, but the red-white goalkeeper Alexander Maximenko guessed correctly the intention of Ivelin Popov who was performing a kick from 11-meter mark and managed to save. Alexey Ionov in the 53^rd minute and Dmitry Chistyakov in the 79^th minute contributed to the advantage of Rostov. Ezequiel Ponce managed to play one goal back in the 81^st minute, but the final goal was scored by Rostov. In the 83^rd minute Bakhtier Zainutdinov scored his second goal in this game and fixed the final score.

Rostov leaves for the winter break on the 3^rd position in the RPL tournament table, Spartak is on the 10^th position.

The Player of the Match was Rostov midfield Khoren Bayramyan.
