Krylia Sovetov hit four again to win seven-goal rollercoaster

print version

Krylia Sovetov Samara scored four goals for the second time in two winter training matches to beat Bohemians Prague 4-3 after letting a three-goal lead slip. All eight goals so far this winter have been scored by different players.

They went into the break 3-0 up thanks to strikes from Anton Zinkovskiy, Paul Anton - both inside the first 10 minutes - and Vladimir Poluyakhtov on the stroke of half time. Three goals in 17 second-half minutes drew the Czech side level before Radu Ginsari’s winner 10 minutes from time. The Moldovan had only been on the pitch for seven minutes.

Greek striker Stefanos Athanasiadis and 19-year-old Georgian forward Revaz Injgia appeared in the second half for Krylia. Both are on trial; the former currently as a free agent, and the latter from Locomotive Tbilisi.

Krylia return to Russia for a brief break before returning to Turkey for their second training camp on Wednesday 29 January.
