Krasnodar won their second winter training match by a 2-1 scoreline on Sunday. This time they beat Jablonec of the Czech Republic, thanks to Manuel Fernandes and Marcus Berg’s goals.
Fernandes broke the deadlock with a precise free kick on 29 minutes, but Jablonec struck back three minutes later. After intense pressing had won back possession for the Czech side, a cross into Krasnodar’s box evaded everybody except Jan Krob, who smashed a rocket past Matvey Safonov.
Just before the hour mark, Krasnodar had a concentrated spell of pressure around the Jablonec penalty area. Berg hit a volley from point-blank range straight at the keeper, but redeemed himself moments later by converting a penalty.
Krasnodar will return to Spain for their second training camp on Thursday 30 January.
