Despite dominating possession in the first half, Ural Ekaterinburg went behind to Clinton N’Jie’s finish from a lightning quick counterattack. Right on the hour mark, Sylvester Igboun powered home a near-post header from Sebastian Szymanski’s corner. Daniil Fomin also struck the angle from a direct free kick for the visitors on his debut. 

Ural Ekaterinburg are away to Rubin Kazan next on Saturday 15 August, while Dynamo Moscow host Rotor Volgograd on the same day.
