Man of the Match: Roman Evgenyev (Dynamo)

Roman Evgenyev dominated a frantic derby for Dynamo against nine-man Lokomotiv with a captain’s performance. The academy product was handed the armband for the first time by Sandro Schwarz, and took just three minutes to calmly finish from close range. Clinton N’Jie was left in acres of space to slot home a second, five minutes before Slobodan Rajkovic was shown a second yellow card.

In first-half added time Ze Luis powered home a thumping header, but within 20 minutes of the restart Daniil Lesovoy had restored Dynamo’s two-goal advantage. Moments later Guilherme was punished for a rush of blood to the head when he handled the ball outside his area with his second booking, but Dynamo defender Sergey Parshivlyuk was also given his marching orders with 12 minutes remaining.

There was still time for two more goals, both coming for the rampant hosts. Daniil Fomin converted a penalty late on, before Konstantin Rausch smashed in a fifth deep into added time.

Dynamo stay fourth on 26 points, while Lokomotiv stay in eighth on 21 points.
