Rostov ran out comfortable winners thanks to first goals for the club from Pontus Almqvist, Armin Gigovic and Aleksandr Saplinov. The Swedish Teammates scored either side of half time, before Ali Sowe got his third goal in four matches to seal the result. Final goal was scored by Aleksandr Saplinov, who spent the first part of the season on loan in Rotor.

Rotor remain 13th on 18 points, while Rostov go sixth on 37 points.
