Fedor Chalov got Mikhail Galaktionov's youngsters got off to a blistering start in their European Championship finals campaign with a hand in all three first-half goals. The CSKA striker broke the deadlock after half an hour before assisting clubmate Nair Tiknizyan, and then 17-year-old Dynamo winger Arsen Zakharyan in first-half added time. 

Dennis Makarov finished a mazy dribble in the opposition penalty area with a clinical finish soon after the break, before Iceland pulled one back through a Sveinn Aron Gudjohsen header.
