The RFU, RPL, FNL and PFL will hold events dedicated to the All-Russian Donor Day with the support of the Spartak for Children Foundation.

Before all the matches of the next matchdays in the leagues, a video about the importance of donation will be shown on stadium scoreboards. The players will take to the pitch in special red armbands.

The All-Russian Donor Day is celebrated on 20 April. The information partner of the campaign will be Match TV channel.

“Donors save dozens of lives every day. A particularly urgent need for donated blood arose in 2020 during the pandemic, when plasma from people who had already been ill was used to treat severe cases of coronavirus. Russian football wants to draw attention to the problem of blood donation and tell people about the safety and importance of blood donation. A donor is a hero that anyone can become.”
