Deep into first-half added time, Kristoffer Olsson rose high to glance an excellent header into the far corner to give Krasnodar the lead. Within seconds of the restart, Aleksey Ionov - who had only joined the visitors from Rostov last year - pounced on a deflection to tap in a second, only to see it ruled out for offside. 

Moments later, Yury Gazinsky unfortunately flicked a corner over Matvey Safonov and into his own net. On the hour mark Wanderson restored krasnodar’s lead, before fellow Brazilian Kaio struck right at the death in added time to confirm the southern derby win.

Rostov finish ninth on 43 points, while Krasnodar end the season in 10th on 41 points.
