An Artem Dzyuba masterclass was far too much to handle for alread-doomed Tambov, as the target man bagged four goals to pass teammate Sardar Azmoun in the goalscorers race.

The champions only needed 11 minutes to take the lead against already relegated Tambov, as captain Dzyuba dedicated a close-range finish to his newborn son. Right on the stroke of half time Kirill Klimov showed composure and determination to swivel and smash in an unexpected equaliser.

The advantage was restored by a fantastic striker’s finish from Dzyuba. Daler Kuzyaev cut back a chipped cross from the byline at a slightly awkward angle behind the striker, but one delicate touch controlled the ball, before a quick turn and powerful finish.

A quickfire double later on - one from a clever hooked overhead assist from Daniil Shamkin, and the second a minute later put the result beyond doubt. In added time Farkhod vasiev turned the ball into his own net to complete a miserable campaign for Tambov.

Tambov are relegated in last place on 13 points, while Zenit finish their title-winning campaign on a high with 65 points.
