On 8 June, players of RPL teams played for their national teams in friendly matches, European Under-21 Championship qualifiers, and 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
2022 World Cup qualifiers, South America
Ecuador 1-2 Peru
Sochi midfielder Christian Noboa played for Ecuador in a competitive match for the first time in 239 days. The Ecuadorian came on immediately after the break with the score at 0-0. In their next match, Ecuador will face Colombia at the Copa America on 14 June.
Colombia 2-2 Argentina
Zenit midfielder Wilmar Barrios came on for Colombia immediately after the break, when his team were 2-0 down. In the second half, Colombia scored twice without conceding to earn a point. On 14 June, Colombia will play Ecuador at the Copa America.
Friendly matches
Denmark U-20 1-2 Argentina (Olympic)
Spartak forward Ezequiel Ponce was named in the Argentina starting line-up before being replaced midway through the second half. The Latin Americans conceded first in the 56th minute, but snatched victory thanks to two goals in added time. On 11 June, Argentina will play with Saudi Arabia Olympic team.
Benin 2-2 Zambia
Arsenal midfielder Kings Kangwa came on in the 85th minute in a 2-2 draw. On 11 June, Zambia will play a friendly match with Sudan.
Poland 2-2 Iceland
Lokomotiv midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak was included in the starting line-up for Poland, received a yellow card in the 46th minute, and was substituted in the 64th. His teammate Maciej Rybus appeared in the 80th minute. On 14 June, Poland will kick off their Euro 2020 campaign against Slovakia in St. Petersburg. Next up Poland will meet Spain in Seville on 19 June, and Sweden on the 23rd in St. Petersburg.
Serbia U-21 0-3 Brazil (Olympic)
Zenit striker Malcom started for Brazil, and was involved in their second goal. Pedro scored from his pass in the 75th minute, before Malcom was replaced in the 79th minute. Reigning Olympic champions Brazil will begin their tournament at the Tokyo Games on 22 July against Germany, whom they met in the last final in Rio de Janeiro. The other Group D contenders are Cote D’Ivoire and Saudi Arabia.
Czech Republic 3-1 Albania
Spartak midfielder Aleks Kral played 64 minutes. When he came off, the scores were level at 1-1, but his side ran out 3-1 winners. At Euro 2020, the Czech Republic will start on 14 June against Scotland in Glasgow. On 18 June, they will face Croatia at Hampden Park, and on 22 June, they will play against England at Wembley.

Sweden U-21 6-0 Luxembourg U-21
Rostov midfielder Armin Gigovich played 66 minutes and was substituted with the score at 4-0. In September, Sweden under-21s are scheduled to play away matches against Montenegro (3 September) and Bosnia & Herzegovina (7 September).
