The 2021 Copa América quarter-finals took place with two RPL players involved.

Colombia knocked out Uruguay with the help of Zenit midfielder Wilmar Barrios. Normal time ended level at 0-0, before Colombia emerged 4-2 victors in the penalty shootout. Barrios played the whole match.

Sochi midfielder Christian Noboa's Ecuador fell 3-0 to Argentina. Rodrigo De Paul (40th minute), Lautaro Martinez (84th) and Lionel Messi (90+3) scored for the winners. Noboa remained on the bench for Ecuador.

Colombia and Argentina will play each other in the semi-finals, which will be held on the night of 7 July. The day before, Brazil will take on Peru in the other semi-final.
