On 28 July, the Tokyo Olympic Games football tournament group stage ended.

Saudi Arabia 1-3 Brazil

Zenit forward Malcom played the entire second half, having come on as a substitute in each of his team's three games at the group stage. CSKA defender Bruno Fuchs remained on the bench - the Armyman is yet to play a minute at the tournament.

Brazil topped Group D with seven points. In the quarter-finals, they will meet Egypt on 31 July.

Spain 1-1 Argentina

CSKA striker Adolfo Gaich played a full match against Spain. The forward was in the starting line-up for all Argentina’s matches and was given a yellow card in the game against Australia. Spartak forward Ezequiel Ponce missed the Spain match due to suspension after being booked in earlier clashes against Australia and Egypt.

Argentina finished third in Group C with four points and did not qualify for the knockout stages. Spain and Egypt made it to the quarter-finals.
