Bulgarian winger Ivelin Popov scored his first goal in over a year as Sochi narrowly usurped Ural on Monday. The Leopards saw out the rest of the match with ease, and took all three points.

Sochi will now prepare for the second leg of their European tie against Partizan Belgrade, which is on Thursday. Ural are struggling on the other hand, having gained just one point in their first three games of the season.
