Krylia star Ivan Sergeev scored his third goal of the year as Krylia beat Sochi in what was a slight upset for the latter. Half an hour into the first half, Sergeev was set up by midfielder Roman Ezhov for a simple header that Soslan Dzhanaev couldn’t keep out. Sochi were in control for the remainder of the game, but a determined effort from the Krylia defence helped them take all three points. 

Krylia have now picked up their first win of the season and sit in 12th place. Sochi remain fourth, and in early contention for a European spot.
