Matchday two of the Russian Cup Elite Round had been wrapped, with the last two Russian Premier Liga teams in action away to FNL 2 sides.

Group 10

Zenit Izhevsk 0-4 CSKA Moscow

A heavily rotated CSKA side coasted past Zenit Izhevsk without any trouble with two goals in each half settling the game. Four debutants started - goalkeeper Vladislav Torop, defender Dmitry Kaptilovich, midfielder Ruslan Daurov and winger Eduard Bagrintsev - with the first two playing the entire 90 minutes.

Ilzat Akhmetov and Konstantin Kuchaev scored in the first half, before substitutes Baktiyor Zaynutdinov and Anton Zabolotny got in on the act after the break.

CSKA will play Metallurg Lipetsk on matchday three.

Group 2

Torpedo Vladimir 0-2 Ural Ekaterinburg

Ural received some respite from their challenging league campaign by seeing off the challenge of Torpedo Vladimir. Andrey Egorychev scored within the first minute of the game, with Andrey Panyukov adding a second on the quarter-hour mark.

Ural will take on Kamaz Naberezhnye Chelny on matchday three.
