Grzegorz Krychowiak came within a whisker of breaking the deadlock in a tense clash between European challengers CSKA and Krasnodar, as chances went missing for both sides. 

His blistering shot slammed against the foot of Igor Akinfeev's post with just over 20 minutes remaining, moments before Fedor Chalov blazed over. 

Chidera Ejuke then hit the woodwork from the edge of the area, but still the tense encounter remained level. 

CSKA stay fifth on 17 points, while Krasnodar remain fourth on 17 points.
