Aleksandr Sobolev broke his barren patch in front of goal to bring Spartak a precious win away in Grozny. 

Ruslan Litvinov picked out a perfect pass to split Akhmat central defenders Andrey Semenov and Vitaly Lystsov, and although Sobolev still had a lot of work to do, he kept his cool to slot home. 

Midway through the second half, Zelimkhan Bakaev had a chance to double the advantage from the penalty spot, but he failed to make it count. 

Akhmat stay 11th on 12 points, while Spartak go seventh on 16 points.
