Battle of the teams, who were promoted from FNL last season, ended with Krylia Sovetov victory thanks to Vladislav Sarveli double strike.

The forward started in the first half with a header after Yury Gorshkov’s cross, and after the break he put the ball into the top corner from the counter attack. The visitors’ net were defended by Artur Anisimov, who made his RPL debut. The chance to beat Ivan Lomaev slipped away from Nizhny after Nikolay Kalinsky missed the penalty.

Krylia go eighth on 16 points, while Nizhny Novgorod are tenth with 14 points.
