Ufa dragged themselves out of the automatic relegation zone with a crucial 1-0 win at home to Akhmat for just their third win of the season. Unsurprisingly, it was runaway RPL top goalscorer who made the telling touch.

Just before the hour mark, Akhmat were attempting to clear the ball away from their area, but Bojan Jokic caught out Darko Todorovic on the left flank, before sending over an inviting cross for Agalarov to pounce form a couple of yards out for his 11th goal of the season.

Ufa move up to 13th on 13 points, while Akhmat stay 10th on 15 points.
