Vladislav Sarveli set Krylia on their way to a confident win with a well-taken header after 20 minutes, following some marvellous trickery from Anton Zinkovsky on the left flank to carve open a crossing opportunity.

Zinkovsky was again involved five minutes before the break. His cross in towards Ivan Sergeev was met with an outside-of-the-boot volley that deflected into Maksim Karpov’s hand, and a penalty was given. Sergeev stepped up to beat Ilya Lantratov’s dive down low.

With 20 minutes left, Roman Ezhov settled the affair in fine style. In an classic breakaway counter-attack from the edge of their own area, Ivan Sergeev turned unchallenged and powered towards the Khimki penalty box before feeding Zinkovsky. His squared ball to Sarveli was worked on to Ezhov on the right to sweep home a lovely low finish into the far bottom corner.

Krylia move up to sixth on 22 points, while Khimki remain 15th on 12 points.
