The former Rostov player and coach passed away on 8 December at the age of 61.

Igor Vasilyevich spent his career as a football player with Zara, SKA Rostov, Rostselmash, Atommash, Kristall and Tavria. He worked as a head coach in Russia with Chernomorets and Rostov, the latter where he also coached the youth team.

The Russian Premier Liga sincerely sympathizes with the family, friends and colleagues of Igor Vasilyevich.

In memory of Igor Gamula, RPL matchday 18 fixture between Rostov and Ural will begin with a minute’s silence.
